Music is a vital part of the worship services held on campus and the
Seminary Singers play an important part in most services.
Directed
by Dr. Daniel Hoggatt, professor of Church Music, the Seminary Singers
are a diverse group of students, staff, and community members who meet
once a week to rehearse hymns and anthems that will be presented in upcoming
worship services.
The Seminary Singers rehearse from 5:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. on Mondays
during the academic year and they sing regularly for chapel and special
worship services, as well as by invitation elsewhere. One unit of credit
can be earned each semester for participating.
