The David Ng Resource Center is located on the San Anselmo campus of San Francisco Theological Seminary. It works in partnership with the North Coast Resource Center in Fortuna, California to serve the Redwoods Presbytery and the greater ecumenical communities of the Bay Area. It is the mission of these resource centers to assist the seminary and local churches in their educational ministry, and to encourage the sharing of resources as a matter of good stewardship by providing access to educational resources and supplementary materials.

Some of the newest materials and sample products produced by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and other publishers;
printed materials including books, periodicals, and denominational curricula, with an emphasis on PCUSA, but encompassing a wide variety of denominations and interfaith resources;
a collection of audio-visual materials such as videos and audio cassettes, and
a newly established collection of CD-ROM based materials, such as interactive curricula and games.

There is no cost to use our resources. Items may be signed out and returned within three weeks of check-out date.
You are always welcome to drop by and browse the shelves. Staff members are available for consultations and appointments, and will be happy to help you find resources for Sunday School, preaching, counseling, spirituality and more. For any questions, postal mail can be directed to the address below, or stop by the center for regular hours, email, and phone numbers for staff.
You can also use the Resource Center as a quiet place to study – many students of the seminary make use of both our collection and the available study space.

Location
The David Ng Resource Center is located on the first floor of Geneva Hall, at the top of Seminary Hill, on the campus of San Francisco Theological Seminary. Although a separate entity from the library, you may view and borrow items from the Resource Center any time, by requesting a key at the library circulation desk. The library hours often change during student holidays, so you may wish to call ahead to confirm hours of availability (415-451-2841). Additionally, during the seminary’s academic year, the Resource Center staff maintains short daily hours when you may feel free to stop by. DAVID NG, the John K. McLennan Professor of Christian Education at S.F.T.S. from 1988 until his death in April of 1997, taught and celebrated multi-culturalism in the American church and was recognized nationally for his workshops and keynote addresses on the church's educational ministry, particularly in the areas of racial ethnic education, children and worship, youth ministry and confirmation, and church officer development.
Named Educator of the Year by the Association of Presbyterian Church Educators in 1991, Ng was the author of many books and articles, including, Children in the Worshipping Community, Youth in the Community of Disciples, and People on the Way: Asian North Americans Discovering Christ, Culture and Community.
The David Ng Resource Center welcomes financial gifts to aid in expanding its resources to support the vision of this outstanding church educator in educating and assisting churches and individuals in ministry today.
Stewart Curricula Archive Library
The Stewart Curricula Archive Library holds an extensive collection of curricula archives. Produced prior to and during the past century, these pieces are available for academic study. Items include curricula produced by many Protestant and Roman Catholic publishers, the most complete being that of the Presbyterian and Methodist denominations. Historians, educators, and students may review these materials upon request of David Ng Resource Center staff
