| The Muilenburg-Koenig History of Religion Seminar completes its third year |
|
With the conclusion of the 2012 Spring semester at San Francisco Theological Seminary, the Muilenburg-Koenig History of Religion Seminar ends its third year.
The seminar is funded by a gift from Rev. Dr. Robert Koenig (class of '69) in memory of the distinguished scholar, the late Dr. James Muilenburg, professor of Old Testament for many years at Union Theological Seminary in New York and, toward the end of his life, at SFTS.
The seminar brings faculty, students and distinguished visitors together to study topics across disciplines. Semester themes so far have included "Nature, Miracle and Magic" (Spring 2010), "Poverty" (Spring 2011) and "Bodies in Space and Time" (Spring 2012).
