Doctor of Ministry Program

San Francisco Theological Seminary invites pastors to apply for admission to the Doctor of Ministry Program. Collegium groups will begin meeting on the SFTS campuses in San Anselmo and Pasadena on Sept. 20.



Annual preachers retreat

"Before the Cradle and Beyond the Cross" allows preachers and lay leaders to join a community of peers to study and pray the 2010-11 lectionary year. This unique event blends sermon preparation with spiritual formation. Date: July 26-30.



Lake Tahoe retreat

The annual Companions on the Inner Way retreat will focus on "Mapping Mysteries of Faith." Sponsored by Seventh Avenue Presbyterian Church of San Francisco, it will be led by Jan Richardson, an artist and spiritual director. Date: Aug. 8-13.



Horizons Bible Study

The SFTS Auxiliary is pleased to announce that the 2010 Horizons Bible Study author, Rev. Dr. Barbara Rossing, will lead a workshop on "Journeys Through Revelation: Apocalyptic Hope for Today." Date: Sept. 11.



Pasadena campus turns 20

San Francisco Theological Seminary alumni and friends are encouraged to celebrate SFTS's 20 years of preparing leaders for Christ's church in Southern California. Date: Sept. 25.
