Eugene Eung-Chun Park Dana and Dave Dornsife Professor of New TestamentDr. Eugene Eung-Chun Park is a New Testament scholar, who strives to be a careful exegete of early Christian literature. Trained as a historical critic, he still believes that philological and historical inquiry should be the foundation for any quest of meanings of the bible. However, he is also willing to be challenged and informed by various types of reader-oriented hermeneutics. He envisions a form of hermeneutics that integrates both historical and trans-historical approaches, although it might sound hopelessly optimistic. More about Eugene Eung-Chun Park...
