2010 Commencement Photo Galleries
Even if you were unable to attend the 2010 San Francisco Theological Seminary graduation ceremonies in May, you can feel a part of those success stories by viewing our photo galleries. As a courtesy to our graduates, and their friends and families, all photos are available for download.

SFTS graduated 42 students with Master of Divinity degrees, 18 with Doctor of Ministry degrees, four with Master of Arts in Theological Studies degrees, and 11 from the Seminary's Diploma in the Art of Spiritual Direction program.

Dr. Laird J. Stuart, interim president and professor of pastoral theology, was the keynote speaker during the May 22 commencement ceremony held in the shadows of giant Redwood trees that encircle Bouick Field. Rev. Aleida Jernigan, the 2010 SFTS Distinguished Alumna, delivered the charge to the graduating students.

While the Seminary community welcomed Stuart, who arrived at SFTS in March, it said goodbye to three professors with 75 years of combined service in San Anselmo. Dr. Robert Coote served as the Nathaniel Gray Professor of Hebrew Exegesis and Old Testament. Rev. Dr. Charles Marks was the Ester M. Dornsife Chair for the Seminary Chaplain and Associate Professor of Ministry. Dr. Lewis Rambo, the Tulley Professor of Psychology and Religion, will continue to teach in the SFTS doctoral program this summer.

The graduation festivities began on May 15 in Pasadena, where the SFTS Southern California campus held its annual closing ceremony.
