As faith-based groups around the world seek to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, San Francisco Theological Seminary is striving to be a leader and example among seminaries to educate its students and make the fight against climate change a priority. Check out what's happening at SFTS and other ecumenical communities.


Campus Projects

Every academic year, the SFTS Environmental Ethics class takes on a project to enhance students' understanding of ways to protect God's creation. Under the leadership of Dr. Carol Robb, the Margaret Dollar Professor of Christian Social Ethics, projects have ranged from working in the community garden to installing solar panels.

Community garden offers students, faculty and staff organic experience
